Real astronomy, stated plainly
Your chart is computed by a professional-grade astronomical ephemeris (accurate to about one arcminute) running entirely in your browser, with timezone and daylight-saving history for your birthplace applied automatically. Choose the Western tropical zodiac (with Whole Sign houses) or the Vedic sidereal zodiac (Lahiri ayanamsa). The same sky, measured by two different traditions, which is why the two systems can show different signs for the same birth. Both are calculated, never guessed and never generated by AI. When the birth time is unknown we calculate a midday reference chart: most planetary signs remain reliable, but the Moon's degree may vary, and houses, Ascendant and Midheaven are omitted rather than invented.
Why can my Sun or Moon sign differ between Western and Vedic?
The tropical zodiac starts at the March equinox; the sidereal zodiac aligns with the fixed stars. They currently differ by about 24°, so a placement near the end of a sign in one system often sits in the previous sign in the other. Neither is "wrong". They are different measurement traditions, and your artwork states which one it uses.
What are the Big Three?
Your Sun sign (core identity), Moon sign (emotional life) and Rising sign (how you meet the world). The Rising sign needs your exact birth time and place.
I don't know my birth time. Can I still order?
Yes. We calculate a midday reference chart and mark it "birth time approximate". Most planetary signs remain reliable across a whole day, but the Moon moves about 13° daily, so its degree (and occasionally its sign) may vary; houses, Ascendant and Midheaven are omitted rather than printed as guesses.
Is this the same as apps like Co-Star?
The astronomy is equally rigorous. Real ephemeris calculations, not AI guesses. The difference is the ending: your chart becomes a piece of art printed on solid timber, made locally at Westpoint Blacktown.
Can I gift one?
Absolutely. Tick "This is a gift", add a dedication line, and it's printed under the name. A newborn's chart ("Baby's First Sky") is one of our favourite nursery gifts.
What happens to my birth details?
Everything is calculated in your browser; nothing is uploaded while you design. If you order, the details are sent to us via WhatsApp so we can print your exact chart. And used for nothing else.
