No mystery, no paywall. Here is exactly what each number is and how it is calculated.
It comes from your date of birth and is traditionally treated as the main number in a reading. You reduce the month, the day and the year each to a single digit, add those three together, then reduce again. If any step lands on 11, 22 or 33 it is held there as a “master number” rather than reduced further. It describes a theme, not a destiny.
Add your birth month and birth day to the current calendar year, then reduce to a single digit. It turns over every 1 January and runs a nine-year cycle: 1 is traditionally read as beginning, 9 as completion, then it starts again. Because it is a nine-year cycle, master numbers are reduced here rather than held.
Your Personal Year plus the calendar month gives your Personal Month; add the date and you have your Personal Day. It changes every day, which is why this page reads differently each morning. It is the number most people find useful day to day.
Most numerology traditions attach colours to numbers. Deep reds to 1, soft neutrals to 2, gold and navy to 8. There is no scientific basis for the associations, but they are consistent enough across sources to make a genuinely useful starting palette when you are choosing artwork for a room.
Feng Shui is Chinese; Vastu Shastra is Indian. Both give guidance about placement and direction, and both are thousands of years old. But they are separate systems with different rules, and they contradict each other on plenty. Mixing them produces advice that belongs to neither. Where we cite one, we name it.
Practically, an entrance is the most-seen and least-decorated wall in most homes. Hang at about 145–150 cm to centre, since nobody sits in a hallway, and check it under night lighting as well as daylight. In Feng Shui the entrance is traditionally treated as where energy enters, so imagery there is conventionally open and welcoming.

Yes. Choose “My Family / Household” and add everyone who lives with you, with their date of birth, relationship and the rooms they mainly use. Shared rooms are then planned to sit well with everyone, while a child’s room is planned around the child. For any room you can also switch between Best for everyone and Best for one person.
The recommendation favours breadth over intensity: artwork that resonates with more of the people using the room outranks artwork that strongly reflects just one of them, and calmer, more neutral compositions get preference in shared spaces. Where profiles pull in different directions we choose a balanced piece and say so. Nobody is ever described as incompatible with anyone.
No. Every calculation on this page runs in your own browser using JavaScript. Your date of birth is never sent to us or to anyone else. Nothing is saved unless you tick the box asking us to remember your reading, and even then it stays in this browser’s local storage on this device only.
Our analytics records that someone completed a reading, along with the intention and room chosen. It never records names, dates of birth, birth times or birth places.
No. Your date of birth alone gives you your Life Path, Birthday number, Personal Year, Personal Month and Personal Day. Which is most of the reading, and all of the daily guidance. A full birth name adds the Expression, Soul Urge and Personality numbers, because those are calculated from letters.
With a real astronomy engine that runs entirely in your browser. The same class of calculation any professional Jyotish software performs. Planetary positions are accurate to about one arcminute, and the sidereal zodiac uses the Lahiri (Chitra paksha) ayanamsa, the standard used across most of India.
The Rising sign genuinely needs your exact birth time and city, so it only appears when you provide both. Without a time, the Moon is calculated at midday and, if it happens to change sign that day, we say the result is uncertain rather than guessing. Your birth details still never leave your device.
Numerology, astrology, Feng Shui and Vastu are belief-based traditions. They are not scientifically established methods of predicting events, and we do not present them as such anywhere on this page.
